Mount Fuji

Today I went out with a Swiss man who married with Japanese woman. He wanted buy a wood print of Mount Fuji. Since then I have been thinking about my authentic Japanese-ness. I used to see Mt.Fuji everyday when I was Jr.high school from the class room. Probably that image in my memory is the strongest proof of Japanese-ness. Mount Fuji has many faces. Sometimes that majestic mountain shines as if golden mountain by sunset, sometimes it helps you to think nothing by its blue symmetry design. It has venerable memories that has been witnessing all history of Japan. I like Hiroshige's works but I have my own vision of Mount Fuji. Everyone has own image of Mount Fuji which is so precious. I love what I saw in my adolescence. Next year probably I will climb Mt.Fuji with this man.
